A quality building begins with a strong foundation
Darrell and Connie Covington were married in 1969. Darrell had a variety of jobs in the construction field and completed his career working for the State of Oklahoma with the Historical Society as the property resources director. Connie worked for Southwestern Bell for 30 years. Towards the end of their careers, they decided that they wanted to create something they could build and do together. Thus, Advantage Inspection Service was born.
Their oldest son, Craig Covington, started working with his father in 2015, as their home inspection business was growing and needed his son’s help in keeping it up. When his father retired in 2018, Craig officially took over Advantage Inspection Services and has proudly been serving clients in all of Oklahoma.
Craig Covington has a wealth of experience in and around the home inspection field. He has been involved in the trades since 2004. He completed the HVAC program at Metro Technology and then began as an HVAC and plumbing technician. In 2011, he opened his own HVAC business.
Today he still holds an Oklahoma State Mechanical Contractor’s License. Craig’s clients can rest assured that he knows the ins and outs of what he’s working with.
The Skills of a Veteran
Craig has a wide range of expertise to offer in his profession. In addition to his background in the trades, he is a two-branch military veteran, proudly serving in the US Navy and the Oklahoma Army National Guard. His time in the military has influenced his work ethic and overall approach to home inspection. He has a strong sense of duty to serve his clients in what they hired him for, ensuring they understand the condition of the home they are potentially purchasing. Craig understands people and can easily see things from multiple perspectives, enabling him to communicate effectively with the parties involved in the buying process.
Family Man, Family Values
Craig’s family is one of the motivating forces that inspires him to do such outstanding work.
He has a wife and three daughters that are his world. If he isn’t working then he is spending time with them and the family pets.
