Types of Inspections
Buyer’s Inspection
Prior to the purchase of a home, a Buyer’s Inspection is a must. We will take an evaluation of all systems and components of your home of interest before you commit to a purchase. We believe that all home buyers should have the facts about the property, including defects and areas needing repair, before they make a decision.
Pre-Listing/Seller’s Inspection
Much like a Buyer’s Inspection, a Seller’s Inspection is crucial in order to accurately price your home before putting it on the market. After a Seller’s Inspection, you will have the information regarding the functionality of all major systems and components of your home, and whether or not you need to make repairs. You will have a more thorough understanding of the condition of your home.
New Construction
A newly constructed home is exciting and you may already feel that it is safe and structurally sound. However, it is always in your best interest to schedule a New Construction Inspection to ensure that there are no hidden issues. A New Construction Inspection pays special attention to potential foundational defects, faulty grading, poor framing, and other possible issues.
11 Month/Builder’s Warranty
With the purchase of your newly constructed home, it is likely that the builder offers you an 11 Month/Builder’s Warranty. Within the first year of living in your home, you can schedule an inspection to examine potential issues from faulty construction, defective materials and improper installations, and this protects you from having to pay for the repairs.
Commercial Buildings/Property
A big part of owning a commercial property is ensuring that the building is safe and structurally sound. A Commercial Buildings/Property Inspection will identify any issues with your property, whether they be structural or otherwise. You will be made aware of your property’s true condition and it will help you determine whether repairs or ongoing maintenance is needed in any areas.
Re-Inspections
Perhaps during an initial inspection, certain areas of the home were inaccessible or unfinished, or a repair was recently made. Scheduling a Re-Inspection will allow us a second look at areas that were originally out of reach, or to ensure that repairs or modifications were done properly.
Water Testing
It is hard to tell whether or not water is safe to drink, as contaminants or bacteria are not visible. We can take samples of your water and test it for particulates, minerals, and disease-causing bacteria.
Additional Services Offered
Well Inspection
If your home uses well water, this inspection is highly recommended. Water testing evaluates water quality, while a well inspection evaluates the components of the system. This can bring to attention any expensive repair or replacement items, and can prevent issues like water contamination and disruption of service.
